Jon Bon Jovi and a Punk Rocker Walk Into a Bar

Actually, they walk on stage at Town Center tomorrow night. That and more in this week's issue!

Getting a very “Light Brights” vibe here

Happy Friday! This is LifestylePTC—your guide to what's happening around Peachtree Corners. And just like George Costanza, we know we’re not the better half in this relationship. So thanks for reading!

True story: I know a guy who knows a guy who tells my guy he knows several guys (and women too, of course) that travel all over to see Guardians of the Jukebox. They’re kind of a big deal.

This means tomorrow’s concert should be a great time. It also means I’ll definitely be pulling from my extensive collection of neon clothing.

But let’s not forget about the opening act, Letterbomb: A Tribute to Green Day. To get you pumped for the opener, here’s a list of actual Green Day song titles:

  • "409 in Your Coffeemaker"

  • "Before the Lobotomy"

  • "Dominated Love Slave"

  • "Geek Stink Breath"

  • "Platypus (I Hate You)"

  • "Prosthetic Head"

So let’s take a cue from some 50-year-old punks and take life a little less seriously sometimes.

Advice to my former and current self.

Featured Event

The annual Light Up the Corners night run is a few short weeks away. It’s a 4-mile fun run that’s all about how “lit” you can be. Think: glow sticks, flashing lights, and bright colors. The streets will be lined by tons of people cheering you on, so get a few tempo runs in ahead of time.

This event party supports a great cause that impacts our local community. All proceeds from the race go to help at-risk kids and families through programs at Fowler YMCA. So sign up now!

P.S. Hit me up if you need any neon.

I just learned the over/under on the number of Hall & Oates songs the band will play tomorrow night is four.

I’m taking the over. Easy money.
