Do you think this is Real Spring?
Peachtree Corners Events for the Week of March 6, 2022
Fake Spring, Real Beer, and Trophies
Happy Fri-yay!
The writer, editor, founder, and CEO of this humble newsletter had a busy week. The brain is drained, hence this uninteresting intro.
But…
I know you’ve all been on the edge of your seats. I know you want to know how the first round of tennis playoffs went.
I only have one thing to say:
ALTA City Finals, here we come!
I’m calling it now. We rolled our way into the semis and plan to continue our dominance this weekend. Keep ya posted!

Now let’s run through the calendar and find a patio.
Peachtree Corners Events
Here’s what’s happening in and around Peachtree Corners. Check out the calendar for a full list of events.
Saturday, March 5th
It’s Georgia Beer Day. I looked up the official rules for Lent and learned it only applies to food–not liquids. Which probably makes it a little easier to get through, honestly.
If I wrote a blurb for every local brewery, I’d run out of jokes. So here’s a simple bullet-point list of links to all of them:
Anderby Brewing will have beer.
Six Bridges Brewing will too.
From the Earth Brewing will have live music. And beer.
Social Fox Brewing. Yup.
Cultivation Brewing. Also yup.
Kettlerock Brewing–you get the picture.
And it’s the last call for the Running for Energy Efficiency 5K. Proceeds benefit the Foundation of AEE Scholarship Program. Winner gets free beer for life! (Contact Anderby directly about this one. Because I made that up. But if you don’t ask you’ll never know!)
Friday, March 11th
From the Earth Brewing kicks off their outdoor concert series. In the leadoff spot is Tribute: A Celebration of the Allman Brothers Band with special guest, Harvest Moon: The Music of Neil Young. All proceeds go to the real Neil Young who is now broke after removing all his music from Spotify. Stay strong, Neil.
Saturday, March 12th
The Shamrock ‘n Roll charity event returns to the Atlanta Hilton Northeast. Proceeds benefit the Revved Up Kids mission to protect children from sexual abuse. Check it out and support a great cause!
And From the Earth Brewing is apparently celebrating Macon, Georgia this weekend. On Saturday night they host Jupiter Coyote.
Whoa. Major college flashback. It wasn’t good. Let’s just stop here.
It’s about to get a lot busier around here. Even if this is just a False Spring!
I do my best to find all the local events. However, the VC funding hasn’t cleared my account yet so I haven’t hired a team. Help me help you by submitting your event.
See ya back here with at least 500 more words next week!
