The Best of Peachtree Corners

Spoiler alert: LifestylePTC was voted Best Newsletter.

Good morning from Lifestyle PTC! We’re like bed sheets at the beach—a little gritty and disheveled, but we get the job done.

At least I think we do. However, I just read the “Best of Peachtree Corners” section in the latest issue of Peachtree Corners Magazine. I didn’t see a “Best Newsletter” category, so it’s hard to know for sure.

[Editor’s note: I reeeeeeeally want to go through the categories and comment on the rankings. That is so in my wheelhouse. Must. Resist. 😑]

The last category is “Most Desired Features and Attractions.” The responses include immersive entertainment options and a pickleball facility, among other things. But maybe they didn’t hear from you.

So what do you think? What sort of feature or attraction would you like to see built in Peachtree Corners?

Hit “reply” and let me know. I know people who know people. 😉

Now let’s run through the coming week’s events!

Featured Event

Night Music at the Town Green continues this Saturday with Her Majesty’s Request. Bring your chairs and coolers to welcome the British Invasion to our zip code!

The list of acts they cover is incredible: The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Clash, David Bowie, and on and on.

No mention of the Spice Girls or Chumbawamba, unfortunately.

Friday, June 9th

  • Norcross’s summer concert series continues with Bogey and the Viceroy and I’m just way too lazy to figure out what that refers to

  • Cultivation Brewing has music from Blackfoot Daisies and eats from the Lowcomotion food truck

  • Anderby Brewing has standup comedy (which is usually funnier with beer)

  • And Kettlerock Brewing has tunes from the Pelican Duo (interesting visual)

Saturday, June 10th

Tuesday, June 13th

  • Yoga on the Green happens every Tuesday (bring a mat, unless you want to use the sidewalk)

Wednesday, June 14th

Thursday, June 15th

  • CrossFit on the Green happens every Thursday morning

  • Ladies’ Night returns to The Forum, and honestly I’m a little jealous of the free rosé at High Country Outfitters and the free raffle (of non-stolen goods) from Lululemon

  • And Chris Cauley returns to Thursday Night Live at The Forum (which coincides with Ladies’ Night, so I’ll use that as my excuse)

Friday, June 16th

  • Max Eve returns to rock the stage/slightly-elevated-platform at Anderby Brewing

  • Joel Keeley provides the entertainment at Cultivation Brewing

  • And Len and Pete will serenade you at Kettlerock

Saturday, June 17th

  • Thrasher Park is hosting a Juneteenth Festival

  • Anderby has something called Drag Queen Bingo and all I know is I’ve gotta see this

  • Sports on the Screen features the Braves v. Rockies

  • Cultivation Brewing has a food truck, music from Cody Marlowe, and baseball on TV for all the dads (but I think moms can probably come too)

And that’s all for this week! (Is this not enough for you??)

Catch y’all on the flip side!
