Hi there! This is Lifestyle PTC—the only newsletter more timely than the school bus on the first day of school.

I recently saw an infomercial for a new, cutting-edge, revolutionary piece of exercise equipment called the Legxercise. Get this: You sit on your couch and get your 10,000 steps in—at the same time! It’s even motorized—you don’t have to waste a single calorie!

I’m convinced we’re already devolving as a species, but this may be the final straw.

I also wish I could remember what I was watching when this ad came on. Surely I don’t fit their target demographic. Right?

The Summer Concert Series returns to the Town Green with Face 2 Face - A Tribute to Elton John and Billy Joel (not to be confused with the great ‘90s punk band Face to Face). Unfortunately, they don’t actually perform face-to-face. No Rocket Man v. Piano Man showdown. Fake Billy Joel goes on first and Almost Elton John closes it out.

Based on previous shows at Town Center that appeal to this type of audience, I recommend setting up your chairs yesterday. 😃
