Hey hey hey! It’s time for the second issue of PTC Weekly.

We don’t want to toot our own horn, but the first issue was a resounding success. 23 new subscribers. 0 unsubscribes. We like that ratio. Let’s keep it up.

And I don’t know why I’m saying “we.” Right now it’s just “me.”

Community Spotlight

Do you know what the foundation of a good community is?

No. Not sidewalks or a sense of safety or good schools or shared values. It’s local breweries.

Kettlerock Brewing opened its doors just over a month ago. I guess that means this isn’t “breaking news,” but we have a little catching up to do.

The Kettlerock founders are Peachtree Corners residents. So swing by, grab a pint (or three), support local business, and do your duty to the community!

On the Horizon

The 10th annual Peachtree Corners Festival is coming to the PTC Town Center from September 17th through the 19th. A weekend of live music, arts, food, and drink? Yes, please.

Let’s Get Physical

Have you jumped on the pickleball bandwagon yet? If not, there’s no better time than now! Pickleball comes to East Jones Swim and Tennis every Monday and Thursday from 8:00am-10:00am.

And you don’t have to be a member. Just show up and pony up a $5 drop-in fee and join in the fun!

Friday, June 18th

Live acoustic music with Jeffery Willis at ‘Cue BBQ. Music starts at 6:00pm. Beer and BBQ starts at ALL DAY.

Saturday, June 19th

Get loose for the weekend at Morning Flow on the Patio at Anderby Brewing. Roll out your mats at 10:00am.

Sports on the Screen returns to the Town Green. Let’s see if the Braves can inch back toward .500. Maybe if we ask nicely they can show the Hawks game on Friday?

Tuesday, June 22nd

Yoga on the Green goes down(ward-facing dog) at 8:30am every Tuesday throughout the summer.

Thursday, June 24th

Want to up your Instagram game without Nashville and Reyes? (By far the best filters. Don’t challenge me.) Tytan Pictures is hosting a free photography class at the PTC Town Center. Check out the Lifestyle – Street Style Photography Super Session.

Pure Barre is hosting the next ForumFIT at… The Forum! Come get sweaty starting at 6:00pm. It’s free, but you have to register in advance.

Every Thursday is Trivia Night at Anderby Brewing. The fun starts at 7:30pm.

Saturday, June 26th

Mix up a batch of White Russians and take in the sounds of the Eagles with On the Border. The concert starts at 7:00pm at the Town Green.

I don’t know if it’s sold out (or “freed” out?). But if you didn’t get tickets, just ask your neighbor because I’m sure everyone got the six-ticket max.

And if you’re wondering what the long-haired guy with no shoes on right in front of the stage is doing, well...

Some dance to remember; some dance to forget.
