Time for a Little More Sleep
For the Week of November 7, 2021
This Week in Peachtree Corners
Happy Thursday, Champs!
I’m running on fumes from staying up past midnight a few too many times lately. So let’s keep it short and sweet this week.
The Braves win. The Cheaters lose. And the kids collected enough candy to get us through the long, cold, wet winter (which apparently has already started).
Worth it.
Peachtree Corners Events
Here’s what’s happening in and around Peachtree Corners. Check out the calendar for a full list of events.
Friday, November 5th
The monthly First Friday Concert is going down at Thrasher Park in Norcross. I gotta be honest. Not sure how I feel about that name for a park. I think I’ve seen too many episodes of Criminal Minds where someone gets thrashed. In a park.
And From the Earth Brewing announced another outdoor concert: Street Fighting Band, the Ultimate Tribute to the Rolling Stones (not Chun Li, as I’d hoped.)
Saturday, November 6th
It’s not too late to sign up for the very first Peachtree Corners Decathlon. Don’t worry about your performance. Just survive and get to the afterparty at Anderby Brewing. (And if you climb that 20-foot high rope, don’t look down. Trust me.)
The Dia de los Muertos Festival is taking place in downtown Norcross. And if you want to attend the party inside the party, head to Social Fox Brewing.
If you want to stay in the 30092, Sports on the Screen is showing Alabama v. LSU at 7:00pm. I sense a mismatch.
Saturday, November 13th
And now back to UGA mowing down everyone left on their schedule. Town Center is showing UGA v. Tennessee on the big screen at 3:30pm. And judging by the calendar, that’s pretty much the only thing going on all weekend.
Winter is coming.
Like I said: short and sweet.
Though I didn’t know 200 words ago it would be short because there’s literally nothing on the calendar and please can we just fast forward to spring?!
I’ll catch up on my sleep Saturday night and return to your inbox next week with a few more words. And twice as many laughs.
Hope I didn’t just overpromise.
Chop on! And sign Freddie!
